About

Faith Lutheran Church is a liturgical, historical, sacramental, confessional Lutheran church committed to preaching Christ crucified and resurrected for sinners. It is in communion with the Evangelical Lutheran Diocese of North America (ELDoNA). We believe that the Bible is the inspired very Word of God. We observe the calendar of the traditional Church Year and follow the Historic Lectionary. We celebrate the Divine Service (also known as the Mass) most Sundays.

The Order of Service is The Order of Holy Communion (page 15) from The Lutheran Hymnal (TLH). The Scriptures are read from the New King James Version (NKJV) of The Holy Bible.

We worship in the chapel at Edgewood Downs, 7799 SW Scholls Ferry Rd, Beaverton, OR 97008. Bible Study is at 9:00 am, followed by coffee at 10, and Divine Service at 10:30.

We are served by pastors from ELDoNA most Sundays. On the Sundays we do not have a pastor, we worship using a videotaped service matched to the particular Sunday of the Church Year. If you have questions about whether we will have a pastor present when you plan your visit, please go to our CONTACT page and give us a call.
